LASER HEALTH WORKS

About Dr. Barbara Loiskandl | About Dr. Rainer Loiskandl | Our Locations

At Laser Health Works we believe that our health is much more than the absence of disease. Webelieve that when we feel positive about our appearance, that adds to our feeling of well being. How we feel about ourselves is communicated to those around us. So why not feel good? Why not communicate this to those around us? Why not utilize all the potential that we have ? When we feel good , we then communicate our strengths and positive energy to those around us. We then encourage others to feel good and use their strengths as well.

Laser Health Works was created to offer you the latest in advanced aesthetic and cosmetic services to help you realize your true potential. We are proud to offer you these services in a safe, medically supervised setting, north of the hustle and bustle of the big city. As physicians we have brought many years of experience to Laser Health Works. For instance, when we selected our Laser Hair Removal System, we reviewed all of the laser hair removal systems being used in North America, Europe and Asia before we settled on the LightSheer. This is the only system that is approved by the US Federal Drug Administration to permanently remove unwanted body and facial hair and this is the system we brought to Central Ontario. And to ensure that your investment is truly without risk, our treatments are supervised or given by a physician. Read about the LightSheer Laser on this site. Read about other laser hair reduction systems and compare. We are confident we offer you the best technology and operators.

Similarly, we have done extensive research into the removal of skin tags, age spots and various other lumps, bumps and minor skin imperfections and have selected our Carbon Dioxide Laser, the Luxar as the best instrument to accomplish our goals for you.

When the public asked us to offer treatment of varicose veins we searched the professional literature and found the most advanced clinic to offer Sclerotherapy (injection of varicose veins) was located in Texas. So that’s where we went to get our training.

For treating Spider Veins (if they were blue), we found we could do with our existing Diode lasers, but we soon came to realize that many of our patients had problems with reddish Spider Veins and also Hemangiomas, Rosacea and Port Wine stains. Again, we researched the instrument we felt would best serve your needs and we have purchased the Candela V Beam, a state of the art Pulsed Dye laser that painlessly and safely removes red vascular lesions.

To help reduce the aching in your legs and to help prevent the new onset of varicose veins and spider veins we offer the complete line of Sigvaris Support Hose. Our certified ‘fitter’ will answer your questions and ensure that you get the right type and size of hose or socks.

We have explored many treatments for the eradication of facial lines and wrinkles and finally uncovered a system developed in Sweden which uses a natural constituent of the body, hyaluronate, to restore your natural beauty. We also utilize another treatment called Botox, which utilizes tiny micro-injections that relax precise muscles to prevent dynamic wrinkle formation. Both of these treatments allow us to turn back the hands of time.

We also offer you an entire skin care line which is made of the highest caliber of natural ingredients. Peau Vive helps us to tailor a skin care regime to your specific skin type and needs.

We are constantly searching out other new and innovative ways for you to achieve well-being. We expect to announce some of these in the near future. However, if you have a suggestion - please email us. We will explore all treatment modalities and if we can assure ourselves that they are safe and scientifically valid we will bring them to Central Ontario. Please help us to help you achieve success.

Come see us and discuss your wishes in utmost confidence. We are currently available to meet you at 93 Bellfarm Rd. in Barrie, Anti-Aging Clinic in Orillia or the Downtown Medical Centre in Midland. Come to Laser Health Works. Dare to Dream!
