Clinical Bulletin #19 – Vbeam® for Treatment of Acne Scars

“The Vbeam laser is a nonablative laser that acts to smooth out the skin through collagen remodeling without desquamation.” 

Three patients with acne are profiled, ages 30, 16 and 22, and treated with Vbeam monthly receiving a total of two to six treatments.  In each instance immediately following treatment there was no desquamation of the skin, and the patient was able to return to normal activities immediately following the procedure. Improvements in the appearance of acne scars were observed as early as one month after the first Vbeam treatment, however the best results occurred one month after the last treatment.  Take a look at these impressive before and after shots for yourself!
